Midleton Very Rare 2024 Vintage Release Whiskey
This prestigious Irish whiskey marks the 2024 release of Midleton Very Rare, a testament to 40 years of excellence. Curated by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman, it blends pot still and grain spirits aged between 12 and 33 years in American oak barrels.
- The nose opens with rich vanilla, apple, pear, floral notes, cinnamon, clove, toffee, and heather honey
- Silky and full-bodied on the palate with tropical peach, nectarine, creme brulee, toffee apple, chocolate dipped honeycomb, and gentle oak spices
- The long finish lingers with soft fruit, American oak warmth and subtle spice echoing pot still character
- Bottled at a refined 40% ABV, this limited annual release embodies elegance, craftsmanship and collectability
Pair this whiskey with creme brulee, pear tart, or rich cheeses to enhance its creamy sweetness. It also suits glazed ham or roasted pork to bring out its fruit and oak layers. A refined dram perfect for dinners or special celebrations, it’s an investment in both taste and heritage.
