Michter's Barrel Strength Straight Rye Whiskey 2024
This limited annual release offers a bold expression of traditional American rye. Uncut and unfiltered, capturing the full intensity of the spirit as it comes straight from the barrel. Known for their uncompromising standards and rich heritage. Michter’s delivers another exceptional whiskey that reflects its small-batch origins and complex ageing process.
- The nose offers a bold bouquet of caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit with undertones of cinnamon and nutmeg
- Michter's Barrel Strength Straight Rye Whiskey 2024 opens on the palate with layers of dark chocolate, toasted oak, and peppery rye
- A long finish lingers with notes of butterscotch, clove, and baking spices
- Bottled at 55.1% ABV from Batch No. L24B1004 for extra intensity and structure
This robust rye pairs beautifully with strong, savoury flavours such as dry-aged steak, charcuterie, or blue cheese. Its high proof and spiced complexity also complement rich desserts like pecan pie or dark chocolate torte, making it a great after-dinner sipper.
