Crafted in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, Mi Campo Blanco is a modern, 100% Blue Weber Agave Tequila produced under master tequilero Berenice Morales at La Cofradía (NOM 1137). Blending traditional tequila production with innovative wine-barrel finishing techniques, the 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave (Agave tequilana) is harvested from the Highlands and Lowlands of Jalisco. The piñas are cooked in stone brick ovens, gently squeezed via roller mill, and fermented in open stainless steel tanks with proprietary yeasts. Following double-distillation in copper pot stills, the distillate undergoes a unique resting process, spending up to 30 days in French oak Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine casks. This brief oak contact softens the raw alcohol bite, imparting a lush, silky mouthfeel and subtle fruit nuances while keeping the vibrant, crisp agave core front and center. Offered here in a large 1.75L handle format, it provides an exceptional value for high-volume entertaining and cocktail programs.
Food Pairing: Fresh ceviche with mango, fish tacos with chipotle crema, grilled pork carnitas, fresh goat cheese crostini, guacamole with lime, or dark chocolate with orange peel.
Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with brilliant clarity, a silky medium body, and bright, fast-moving tears.
Nose: Fresh, vibrant, and fruit-forward, opening with cooked agave, bright lemongrass, and sweet orange blossom, supported by subtle strawberry, white peach, light vanilla, and a hint of white pepper.
Palate: Smooth, round, and approachable on the palate, featuring caramelized agave nectar, sweet tropical citrus, and subtle melon upfront before unfolding into soft vanilla, white pepper spice, light red fruit undertones, and wet stone minerality.
Finish: Medium-long, clean, and refreshing with lingering notes of sweet agave, zesty lime peel, delicate floral oak, and a mild peppery warmth.
Serve: Enjoy neat, on the rocks, or as a smooth, versatile, and high-value foundation for classic cocktails like a Margarita, Paloma, or Tequila Sunrise.
