The MHW-3BOMBER Silicone Corner Tamping Mat is a purpose-built accessory for the corner of a bar station rather than a generic rectangular pad, shaped specifically to tuck against the angle where two counter edges meet instead of eating up a stretch of straight workspace. Its solid silicone body is soft enough to cushion the repeated impact of tamping directly on the countertop, and firm enough to stay planted under a portafilter without sliding around mid-shift. At 235 x 145mm, it's sized to hold both a portafilter and a tamper side by side, so a barista isn't shuffling tools between different spots on the bar during a rush.
Key Features
- Corner-Fit Shape - Designed to sit in a counter corner rather than take up straight bar space.
- Solid Silicone Construction - Cushions tamping impact while staying securely in place.
- Protects Countertop & Portafilter - Reduces wear on both surfaces from repeated daily contact.
- 235 x 145mm Footprint - Comfortably holds a portafilter and tamper together.
- Wipe-Clean Surface - Silicone cleans up quickly between uses.
It's a small, inexpensive addition to a bar setup, but one that noticeably cuts down on counter wear and the clatter of tamping on a bare countertop.
