The MHW-3BOMBER Flash Tamper 2.0 is the updated version of the brand's original constant-pressure tamper, and the manufacturer's photos show the internal spring assembly alongside the finished tamper to make the point: the mechanism has been reworked to make the tool easier to remove and install, without changing the calibrated 30lb tamping weight that made the original popular. A three-spring design is what delivers that constant pressure shot after shot, and it comes with an unmistakable audible click the instant you hit 30lbs, removing the guesswork of judging pressure by feel that comes with a plain, uncalibrated tamper. This particular listing ships on the Ripple Base, one of two base options the 2.0 lineup offers, chosen for a slightly more adjustable, secure tamp than the alternative Flat Base.
Key Features
- Constant 30lb Tamping Pressure - Calibrated three-spring mechanism delivers the same pressure on every press.
- Audible Click Feedback - A distinct click confirms the exact moment you've reached full pressure.
- Reworked Internal Structure - The 2.0 revision makes the tamper easier to remove and install than the original.
- Ripple Base - Chosen for a secure, adjustable tamp on this variant.
- Wood-and-Metal Handle - A walnut wood grip on a durable metal body sized for 58.35mm baskets.
The result is a tamper built for consistency across a whole shift, not just a single well-executed shot.
