Meroi Vigna Dominin Merlot 2021 is a profound single-vineyard expression of Merlot from the renowned hills of Friuli Colli Orientali. Deep ruby in color with violet reflections, it reveals an intricate bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, plum, balsamic herbs, cedar, spice, and subtle citrus peel. The palate is rich, concentrated, and remarkably elegant, offering layers of dark fruit, mineral complexity, and refined oak seamlessly integrated with silky tannins and vibrant acidity. Aged extensively in French oak barriques, it combines power with finesse, culminating in a long, persistent finish marked by spice, dark berries, and savory minerality.
Food Pairing: Braised short ribs, venison, roasted lamb, aged hard cheeses, wild mushroom dishes, or grilled ribeye steak.
