Privada Storytelling
The MEDICI FAMILY cigar is a masterpiece forged from the shared vision of AJ Fernández and Brian Desind of Privada Cigar Club. Inspired by the grandeur of the Medici dynasty — patrons of art, culture, and refinement — this release stands as Privada’s most exclusive curation to date.
Every element of this cigar reflects patience and precision. From the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper aged seven years, to the Estelí binder matured for ten, to fillers that include tobaccos aged up to fourteen years, MEDICI FAMILY is a cigar decades in the making. After rolling, each cigar spent a full year in Privada’s proprietary coolers, refining its balance until it was ready to meet the world. The result is not just a cigar, but a modern tribute to timeless elegance.
Flavor Journey
The first draw unveils golden honey and fresh hay, creating a pastoral sweetness layered with refined grace. As the smoke deepens, toasted almond and dried apricot emerge, followed by a gentle spark of red pepper. Midway, silky toffee and white chocolate coat the palate, creamy yet intricate. The final third whispers warm cinnamon across a bed of nut and spice, closing with a finish that is polished, luxurious, and endlessly satisfying.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada exists to redefine cigar culture — to bring together history, artistry, and exclusivity. MEDICI FAMILY embodies that mission completely. With unmatched aging, a collaboration between AJ Fernández and Privada’s founder, and a flavor journey that exudes refinement, this is more than a cigar. It is Privada’s crown jewel, designed for those who understand luxury not as excess, but as patience, artistry, and meaning.
