Mayenda Blanco Tequila is a refined, modern expression of Jalisco’s terroir — elegant yet deeply rooted in tradition. Crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave and enhanced through an innovative “infusion” of roasted agave and honey, it’s a tequila that bridges artisanal authenticity and contemporary finesse. Expect a beautifully textured spirit with layers of cooked agave, citrus, and warm spice — smooth enough to sip, distinctive enough to remember.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced in Tequila, Jalisco, Mayenda Blanco is made by Casa San Nicolás, the same distillery responsible for Altos Tequila, under the expertise of Master Distiller Jesus Susunaga.
What makes Mayenda unique is its dual-extraction process — after slow-cooking Blue Weber agave in brick ovens, the distillers capture additional flavor by infusing the tequila with roasted agave hearts and agave honey, a rare technique that amplifies the spirit’s depth and sweetness.
It’s then double distilled in small copper pot stills to preserve its natural agave purity and silky texture. The result is a Blanco tequila of remarkable balance — bright yet complex, earthy yet polished — representing a new frontier in tequila craftsmanship.
Tasting Profile
Nose: Freshly cooked agave, honeycomb, and hints of black pepper and citrus zest.
Palate: Smooth and layered — sweet agave nectar, orange blossom, vanilla, and a touch of mineral earthiness.
Finish: Clean and lingering, with a warm pepper spice and honeyed agave fade.
Food Pairings
Excellent with ceviche, grilled shrimp, or goat cheese tostadas. For a cocktail twist, it elevates a Tommy’s Margarita or Paloma with its natural sweetness and depth.
