KōHana KoKoleka is a delightful fusion of Hawaiian cane spirit, honey, and cacao—delivering a silky, indulgent liqueur that’s both dessert-like and soulful. With natural sweetness and subtle chocolate depth, it’s a uniquely Hawaiian twist on rum that works beautifully as an after-dinner sip or bold cocktail ingredient.
Origins & Craftsmanship
-
Produced by Manulele Distillers in Kunia, Hawai‘i, KoKoleka (Hawaiian for "chocolate") is created with local Hawaiian cane spirit, organic cacao, and raw honey—all fermented, distilled, and blended in small batches.
-
Bottled at 60 proof (30% ABV), it sits comfortably in the liqueur category rather than a fortified spirit.
Aromatics & Flavor Profile
-
Nose: Aromas of floral honey, lush figs, and earthy dark chocolate come through with a light, tropical cane sweetness.
-
Palate: Think rich mocha cream, balanced by citrus brightness and gentle spice like clove. The combination of cacao and honey blends elegantly with grassy, tropical cane character.
-
Finish: Long, with lingering bitter cocoa and warming honey—a refined, dessert-forward exit.
