Mad March Hare Irish Poitin
Poitín revives one of Ireland’s oldest spirit traditions, crafted using locally sourced barley and distilled in copper pot stills. This unaged spirit showcases a raw, authentic expression of grain distillation, rooted in heritage while offering a bold and contemporary drinking experience.
- Crystal clear in appearance, the nose is fresh and lively, with notes of green herbs, light grain, and a subtle malty sweetness.
- On the palate, it is full-flavoured and expressive, delivering earthy cereal tones, hints of spice, and a gentle underlying sweetness.
- The finish is warming and persistent, with a clean yet characterful edge.
Pairs well with smoked meats, grilled sausages, strong cheeses, and hearty dishes. It also complements spicy cuisine and can be enjoyed alongside robust flavours that match its intensity.
