Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Whisky 2023
The Macallan was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then they have built a reputation as one of the world’s leading single malt whiskies.
The Macallan sherry oak 18 year old forms part of their sherry oak range. Featuring a series of single malt whiskies matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity.
Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for the necessary number of years. It is these oak casks that make the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours which lie at the heart of The Macallan single malt.
- Light mahogany colour
- A nose of treacle tart with stem ginger, soaked raisins and sultanas with a hint of orange and ground cinnamon
- The palate is soft and rich, with flavours of dark chocolate coated ginger with dates and dried apricots, balanced with oak and the sweetness of vanilla
- A lingering finish with dried fruits, ginger and oak
Chill the Macallan 18 year old sherry oak whisky 2023 slowly for a perfect drinking experience.
