The M by Macanudo Myers's Rum Robusto is a collaboration rooted in history rather than novelty. Long before Macanudo became one of the world's best-selling premium cigar brands, its cigars were handcrafted in Jamaica. Myers's Rum, distilled on the island since 1879, has become one of Jamaica's most enduring exports. Bringing the two together feels less like a marketing exercise and more like a homecoming—one that celebrates the shared heritage of two iconic names through craftsmanship instead of excess.
Handcrafted at General Cigar Dominicana, the Robusto is built upon a foundation of premium Dominican tobaccos finished with a carefully measured infusion of authentic Myers's Original Dark Rum. Rather than overwhelming the blend with sweetness, the rum serves to accentuate the cigar's natural character, adding subtle layers of molasses, oak, dark caramel, vanilla, and baking spice while preserving the integrity of the underlying tobaccos. The result is a smoke that remains balanced and composed, offering a richer, more sophisticated interpretation of what an infused premium cigar can be.
For traditional cigar smokers, the M by Macanudo Myers's Rum Robusto is an invitation to reconsider the category. It is not a dessert cigar, nor is it intended to mask the tobacco beneath. Instead, it reflects the same philosophy behind a fine spirit finish—a thoughtful enhancement that complements rather than competes. For enthusiasts who appreciate both premium cigars and aged rum, few collaborations feel as authentic or as naturally connected as this one.
