A magnificent Northern Italian red wine displaying a brilliant, deep ruby color with bright purple reflections. Sourced from choice estate vineyards across the Langhe hills, this pure and un-oaked expression of Dolcetto opens with an incredibly fragrant and expressive bouquet of wild blackberries, fresh black cherries, and sweet red plums. The complex nose is beautifully layered with distinctive regional notes of crushed almonds, dark cocoa nibs, licorice root, and a faint hint of fresh violet petals. On the palate, it balances a juicy, medium-bodied dark fruit core and a lively, refreshing acidity with smooth, moderate tannins, concluding in a remarkably clean, savory, and beautifully dry finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with traditional antipasti m misti, thin-crust pizza, simple tomato-based pastas, roasted poultry, and casual weeknight dinners.
