Finca Las Moras Los Intocables Bourbon Barrel Malbec
Finca Las Moras use a modern, innovative crafting process to age this malbec. It involves being aged in Argentinian bourbon barrel for 12 months. This bold red wine from San Juan is made from low-yield vines, producing a deeply purple colour with black hues. The bourbon barrel ageing imparts smoky depth and sweet complexity, making it a standout example of Argentina’s wine innovation.
- Aromas of red berries, caramel, vanilla and smoky wood.
- Finca Las Moras Los Intocables Bourbon Barrel Malbec delivers cooked red fruits, blueberry, plum and ripe caramelised notes.
- Medium toast barrels add vanilla, chocolate and spice.
- Smooth tannins with a plush, creamy texture.
- Long, persistent finish with hints of smoke and mocha.
Pairs well with grilled game, mature cheeses and hearty mushroom dishes.
