Little Pomona To Boldly Go, Who Mourns For Grapes
This naturally sparkling cider-wine hybrid showcases Little Pomona’s experimental approach to fruit fermentation. Locally sourced sour Keleris cherries, perry pears, and Discovery apples are combined to create a vibrant, fruity beverage with depth and finesse. The cherries undergo a four-week carbonic maceration, enhancing aromatics and colour, before being pressed with the apples.
Later, perry pear juice is added and fermentation finishes in-bottle, producing natural carbonation. Each bottle is hand-disgorged to remove sediment, highlighting the care and craft in production.
- Little Pomona To Boldly Go, Who Mourns For Grapes pours bright cherry red in colour
- Aromas of sweet cherry, almond blossom, ripe pear, and subtle bubblegum notes
- Creamy and full-bodied on the palate with pillowy bubbles and a touch of residual sweetness
This playful, lightly sweet sparkling drink is perfect for summer sipping. Pair with fresh fruit desserts, soft cheeses, or enjoy chilled on a sunny afternoon.
