THE SOUND
The signature “cling” — the crystalline note that rings when the cap opens. Recognized in every cigar lounge in the world, it is the calling card of the Ligne 2.
THE FLAME
A double yellow soft flame — gentle, wide and even, the connoisseur’s choice for toasting a fine cigar without scorching it.
THE CRAFT
S.T. Dupont celebrates the ancestral Japanese art of Maki-e. Hand-decorated by the maison’s partner artisans of Wajimaya Zenni in Japan, each piece is adorned with gold powder, palladium and mother-of-pearl over rich lacquer — and signed “Zenni.” Weeks of work; no two identical.
THE RITUAL
The Ryusui Shunju collection celebrates the harmony of the cycle of nature — water flowing through the four seasons, cherry blossoms and maple leaves drifting on the current. A meditation on impermanence, carried in the pocket.

HAUTE CRÉATION
EXCLUSIVITY
S.T. Dupont’s Haute Création (HC) collections are ultra-luxury, custom-crafted lighters. These limited-edition masterpieces are forged by master goldsmiths and lacquer artisans. They feature premium materials like solid gold, Chinese lacquer, and precious stones, transforming everyday smoking accessories into high-end works of art. HC pieces are often limited to runs of 88, 288, or are totally one-of-a-kind.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
They require up to 300 to 600 individual steps and several months to produce.
PRICE POINT
Because of their rarity, precious materials, and micromechanical engineering, prices range from $6,000 up to $385,000+ for the most complex complication lighters.
AUTHENTICITY
Every piece from this workshop includes official certificates of S.T. Dupont authenticity.
