L’Aperitivo Nonino is a bright, fully natural, and vegan-friendly botanical aperitif that harmoniously balances citrus zest, floral freshness, and gentle bitterness. At 21% ABV, its sun-yellow hue and soft complexity make it an elegant, modern twist on classic Italian aperitifs.
Origin & Craftsmanship
-
Crafted by the acclaimed Nonino family distillery in Friuli, Italy, this expression revives a recipe inspired by their matriarch, Silvia Nonino, the pioneering female master distiller of the 1940s.
-
Made from an infusion of 18 botanicals—including herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots—dried at low temperatures to preserve aroma, flavor, and color, all blended with Nonino’s ÙE® Fragolino grape distillate.
-
It’s 100% natural, vegan friendly, and free from artificial colors or flavors.
Tasting Notes
-
Color: Bright, energizing sunny yellow—entirely natural.
-
Nose: Bursts with citrus freshness—orange and lemon peel—layered with delicate floral, herbal, and white berry notes.
-
Palate: Bright and clean, gently bitter but well-balanced. Expect rhubarb, orange marmalade, cardamom, coriander, and balsamic undertones.
-
Finish: Medium in length, with lingering citrus, herbaceous resonance, and a slight dry bitterness.
