Our Gold Medal-winning Kuier Shiraz is fruit driven and juicy, with dark fruit notes and hints of oak-driven spice. South Africa is a delicious option for Shiraz/Syrah lovers looking to expand their wine collection beyond France and Australia. South Africa's Western Cape is responsible for the majority of its wine production. The diverse landscape and unique natural factors allow numerous grape varieties to thrive. Since the late 1800s, Shiraz has called this picturesque region home. Long summers allow ample ripening time while the cape's local winds preserve acidity and structure. Many Shiraz wines from this region show brooding black fruit flavors and intense spice. Our Shiraz sits slightly lighter with a more fresh fruit character, making it the perfect introduction to this style. This wine is approachable yet complex and begs to be shared. Enjoy it with friends and family, served with homestyle cooking and quality time.
