The Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Maduro Toro H brings a little more room and development to the original collaboration between Espinosa Premium Cigars and celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Introduced in 2022 after roughly 18 months of development, Knuckle Sandwich was conceived as a legitimate cigar project rather than a celebrity-branded afterthought. The Maduro was one of the two original blends, developed by Hector Alfonso and produced at A.J. Fernandez's San Lotano factory in Nicaragua.
The blend combines a dark Ecuadorian Sumatra Maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. At 6" x 54, the softly box-pressed Toro H gives the Nicaraguan core a little more room to develop while keeping the rich Sumatra wrapper firmly in the picture. The profile is earthy and substantial, with cocoa, pepper and a measured natural sweetness. Medium-to-full in character, it delivers richness without becoming overly heavy or aggressive.
The Toro H is a natural choice for smokers who want to spend a little more time with the Knuckle Sandwich Maduro blend. The 54 ring provides plenty of depth, while the six-inch length allows the cigar to develop at a more deliberate pace than the Robusto. For the Maduro smoker who values richness with balance, put a few Toro Hs in the humidor—this is a cigar with enough character to justify the name on the band.
