Crafted for the true cigar connoisseur, the Kirby Allison Solid Wood Marquetry Humidor embodies the enduring elegance of traditional woodworking. Made from vintage mahogany with interiors lined in reclaimed Cuban cedar salvaged from historic architectural beams and fine furniture, each humidor carries the unique character of naturally aged wood. Variations in grain, mineral streaks, burl figure, small knots, and other natural markings are inherent to reclaimed cedar, making every piece one of a kind rather than perfectly uniform. This distinctive wood has been carefully selected for its beauty, stability, and exceptional suitability for cigar storage.
Its refined marquetry is created through a labor-intensive process of stacking and slicing solid wood wafers to reveal intricate patterns, which are then expertly inlaid into the mahogany exterior. This humidor is a superb example of artisanal craftsmanship rarely seen today.
A testament to old-world technique and refinement, this humidor is an elegant companion for both travel and display.
