The M47 Classic is the best hand grinder on the market according to James Hoffman. Kinu Grinders are manufactured in Romania and they have been making hand grinders for over 25 years.
The Classic is top of the range in the M47 Series apart from the Titan
By buying the Classic over the Simplicity you get the following upgrades
- Grinder adjustments have a click feel.
- Stainless steel catcher with magnets instead of an Aluminium magnetic Bean catcher
- The Rim of the Top is stainless steel instead of ABS Plastic
- The total weight increases to 1170g instead of 965g
The M47 range consists of the Phoenix, Traveller, Simplicity, Rebel, Classic & Titan and delivers a high-end experience in portable, manual coffee hand-grinders. It features extraordinary precision and reliability in producing the expected grind size ideal for brewing espresso and can comfortably grind for filter-style coffee time and time again.
Using stepless grinding, your favorite brewing method is consistently delivered. The micrometric grind adjustments of 0.01mm for 50 divisions per revolution uses four steel ball-bearings that are fixed into position to ensure the smoothest action whilst grinding for the perfect cup of coffee. Black Fusion coating on the burrs decreases wear and reduces the overall static build-up.
All models of the M47 Kinu grinders have the following common features.
- Micrometric step-less grinding adjustment
- 47mm conical burrs
- 4x ball bearing movement throughout
Central Coast Coffee is the direct importer of Kinu Grinders in Australia and if you have any questions about buying a Kinu please let us know. We also have all three models in demo and you can come to our store in Somersby to physically compare each model if you are undecided on what model you may like.
We recommend watching the grinder showdown by James Hoffman which declares the Kinu being the best hand grinder in the world!
