Killowen Rum & Raisin Whisky Drop Exclusive is a limited single malt Irish whiskey bottled exclusively for Whisky Drop's Roulette Club. Matured in ex-rum and ex-sherry casks, this expressive release combines rich malt character with layers of dark fruit, molasses and confectionery sweetness. Bottled at 50% ABV, it offers a creamy, full-bodied profile filled with raisins, dates, figs, berries, caramel and warming dessert-like richness.
Food Pairing: Pair with roasted pork, glazed duck, aged cheese, toasted nuts, fruitcake, sticky toffee pudding or dark chocolate.
Tasting Notes: Rich and fruit-driven with green apple, raisins and plum pudding complemented by Demerara molasses, vanilla, dark berries, caramel and marzipan.
Nose: Green apples and raisins mingle with Demerara molasses and warm plum pudding.
Palate: Creamy and full-bodied with vanilla, raisins, dried dates and figs followed by ripe red grapes, blackberries and black currants with rich PX and rum influence.
Finish: Medium in length with lingering caramel and toffee followed by malt, marzipan and dried figs.
