Kalani is an authentic coconut liqueur produced on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. It is crafted by Casa D'Aristi, a family owned distillery founded in 1935 that is dedicated to upholding Mayan traditions and sustainable production practices. The distillery is renowned for using 100% natural regional resources, specifically the yellow dwarf coconuts harvested from their own historic 19th-century plantation in Oxtapacab.
Liqueur Description
This clear spirit offers an intense sensory profile, led by a rich nose of fresh desiccated coconut, toasted macaroon, and dark chocolate, accented by hints of creme caramel and fresh citrus. On the palate, it is indulgent and velvety with a syrupy texture that balances the sweetness of coconut icing and almond against a peppery bite from the pure sugar cane rum. The finish is long, elegant, and fresh, leaving lingering notes of toasted coconut and a tropical warmth.
