Ryugetsu (龙月) is an exclusive sake, crafted from Yamada Nishiki rice, known as the "King of sake rice," and Aiyama rice, with a rice polishing ratio of 40%. Utilizing the traditional "七垂二十贯" method, this sake is meticulously matured. Recognized as one of the top contenders in the highly competitive junmai daiginjo category at the 2016 Sake Competition, the Juyondai Ryugetsu Junmai Daiginjo stands out for its exceptional quality. Crafted through the cold dripping process, it offers a luxurious experience that embodies the epitome of sake excellence. Compared to other fourteenth-generation wines, its aroma exudes a serene quality, with a gentle fruity essence that makes it exceptionally palatable. While the typical ripe melon aroma takes a back seat, refreshing hints of apple and grape prevail, enhancing its allure. This dream sake of connoisseurs boasts prominent floral fragrances and a complex, rich flavor profile. Best enjoyed alongside salt-grilled mackerel, fresh shrimp, and various seafood delicacies, this sake elevates any dining experience with its exquisite taste and versatility.
