Joseph Burrier Chateau De Beauregard Pouilly Fuisse
This dry white Burgundy is crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes grown on steep Jurassic clay and chalk slopes. The family estate harvests the fruit by hand at optimal ripeness before gently pressing to prevent premature oxidation.
Fermentation and one year of ageing on fine lees take place equally in traditional casks and temperature-controlled steel. This dual winemaking method perfectly preserves the vibrant fruit freshness while developing an elegant structural depth.
- The nose opens with enticing scents of fresh pear, peach and delicate acacia blossom.
- The palate shows a balanced profile where clean minerality carries a refreshing core of orchard fruits.
- The smooth finish delivers a distinct combination of rich honey tones alongside a bright grapefruit zest.
This exceptional white wine pairs beautifully with seared scallops or locally crafted goat cheese.
