Jean-Charles Fagot Rully Blanc
This white Burgundy is made from Chardonnay grown in Rully, a village in the Cote Chalonnaise known for elegant, mineral-driven wines. Jean-Charles Fagot is a fifth-generation winemaker based in Corpeau, just outside Chassagne-Montrachet, with deep family roots in the region.
He farms sustainably and vinifies traditionally, using native yeasts and ageing the wine for 12 months in French oak barrels. Production is small, with only 3,000 bottles made each year.
- Opens with aromas of lemon peel, white flowers and a hint of fresh cream.
- The palate is rounded and lively, showing ripe orchard fruit and subtle oak spice.
- Finishes clean and mineral with a gentle lift of citrus and saline freshness.
Serve with creamy poultry, escargot or charcuterie.
