Originating from Canada in the famous Niagara Peninsula region of Ontario, Jackson Triggs Sauvignon Blanc represents a crisp, vibrant expression of cool-climate white winemaking. Founded in 1993 by Allan Jackson and Don Triggs, Jackson Triggs is one of Canada's most celebrated and recognizable winery brands. Sourced from estate vineyards and partner grower sites across Ontario, the winery's philosophy focuses on capturing maximum aromatic freshness, bright acidity, and pure varietal character through cool stainless steel fermentation without oak intervention.
Wine Description
The wine presents a pale straw colour with clear, greenish reflections in the glass. An inviting and intensely aromatic bouquet opens with fresh aromas of pink grapefruit, passion fruit, and lime zest, interwoven with herbal nuances of lemongrass, fresh cut grass, and green pepper. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied, zesty, and refreshing, delivering vibrant flavours of citrus fruit, green apple, and subtle tropical guava, all driven by a lively, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity. Finishing clean and crisp, it leaves a lingering impression of citrus and subtle flinty minerality. Composed of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this release offers an optimal drinking window of 2026–2028. Stylistically, it combines Niagara cool-climate brightness and zesty citrus aromatics with effortless, food-friendly freshness.
