This is a "set" of 12 (twelve) 50 ml "airplane bottles" of the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Whiskey.
This 12-can kit of Single Barrel Select offers the elevated character of Jack Daniel’s in a convenient, mini-format. It showcases hand-selected barrels of Tennessee whiskey with richer flavor depth—ideal for tastings, travel, gifting or sampling without committing to a full bottle.
Origins & Craftsmanship –
Crafted at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, Single Barrel Select is drawn from specially chosen barrels matured in the upper reaches of the barrel houses, where heat and seasonal variation deepen the wood-interaction. Only a small fraction of the distillery’s barrels qualify for this program. The whiskey is charcoal-filtered (Lincoln County Process), matured in new American white-oak barrels, and bottled at approximately 47% ABV (94-proof) for the standard U.S. release. Each individual barrel creates its own unique expression of the brand’s character.
Tasting Profile –
-
Nose: Rich caramel, vanilla bean and toasted oak dominate. Beneath you’ll find banana-bread or pastry sweetness, mild dark chocolate and a touch of malted barley.
-
Palate: Smooth yet bold, the flavours include butterscotch, brown sugar, roasted nuts, and charred oak. A subtle peppery spice and dried fruit note (raisins or red cherry) emerge mid-palate.
-
Finish: Medium to long in length. The finish features lingering oak tannins, a soft warmth, vanilla-maple undertone and a faint dried banana or leather nuance.
