Single Barrel from the Highest Elevation Barrelhouses
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Barrel represents a special expression matured in the distillery's highest elevation barrelhouses for at least seven years. Bottled at 100 proof, this single barrel Tennessee whiskey showcases the impact of barrel location on flavor development. The higher elevation creates unique aging conditions that produce a whiskey Jack himself would have been proud to craft and enjoy with friends.
About Heritage Barrel
The Heritage Barrel program selects barrels from the uppermost reaches of Jack Daniel's barrelhouses where temperature variations are most dramatic. These extreme conditions cause more aggressive interaction between the whiskey and the charred oak, developing deeper flavors while maintaining the smoothness Jack Daniel's is known for through the Lincoln County Process charcoal mellowing.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Soft oak infused with vanilla and graham cracker
