A pet-nat skin contact Spergola from the hilly silt-clay soils of Western Emilia-Romagna.
On the nose, notes of bread crust, citrus, and yellow flowers. The palate is lively and juicy, with citrus notes of lime and yellow orange. The finish is fresh and mineral, very thirst-quenching.
Azienda Agricola Il Farneto is a small 8 hectare (19.77 acre) winery located between the hills Scandiano and Canossa in Castellarano in Western Emilia-Romagna. It was founded in the mid-90s by Marco Bertoni who dreamed of making natural wines that reflected their terroirs.
Il Farneto is now a certified organic farm, focused on quality wine production, firmly rooted in tradition, even in its complementary crops, all aimed at a clientele attentive to healthy eating, well-being, and environmental and social sustainability.
