From the heart of Italy’s Tuscany region, Il Borro Rosé Borrorosa 2024 hails from the Valdarno di Sopra subregion, nestled in the foothills of the Apennines. Il Borro, a historic estate dating back to the 13th century and revitalized by the Ferragamo family in the late 1990s, is a fully organic property dedicated to expressing the land through sustainability and precision viticulture.
This 2024 vintage displays a radiant pale pink hue, with an expressive nose of wild strawberries, fresh red cherries, and delicate floral undertones of rose petal and white blossoms. On the palate, it is crisp and elegant, offering flavours of raspberry, pomegranate, and a touch of citrus zest. The wine is light to medium in body, with a vibrant acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. Composed primarily of Sangiovese, it is best enjoyed young, ideally within two to three years of release to preserve its freshness and finesse.
Food Pairing
Enjoy it with grilled prawns, watermelon and feta salad, or thinly sliced prosciutto with melon. A perfect match to enhance the wine’s complexity.
