Idi Di Marzo Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Organic Black Label 2022 is an exceptionally vibrant, fresh, and beautifully balanced organic red wine crafted by Famiglia De Cerchio from sustainably grown grapes in the premier Villamagna district of Abruzzo. Exhibiting a classic ruby-red color with violet reflections, it presents a highly expressive and inviting bouquet dominated by ripe dark cherries, fresh wild berries, and red currants, harmoniously layered with fragrant notes of dried herbs, anise, licorice, and a subtle touch of citrus zest. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied wine delivers an exceptionally smooth, juicy texture backed by a nicely integrated spine of crisp natural acidity and fine-grained, tight tannins. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts yields a pure expression of the terroir, concluding with a remarkably fresh, savory, and clean finish filled with authentic fruit character.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb skewers, rich beef lasagna, spicy sausage pizza, slow-cooked meaty stews, and mature hard cheeses.
