This remarkably sophisticated, deep, and beautifully expressive organic Italian red wine stands as a magnificent monument to traditional Piedmontese viticulture. It opens with an enchanting, highly aromatic bouquet of dried red cherries, wild raspberries, and crushed red plums, masterfully woven with sophisticated notes of dried red roses, tar, savory leather, black licorice, and a subtle touch of warm baking spice. On the medium-bodied palate, it showcases an impeccable vertical architecture, driving an incredibly concentrated, fruit-pure core of red berries with an electric, mountain-fresh regional acidity. A firm, seamlessly integrated line of chalky, fine-grained tannins anchors the beautifully textured mid-palate, carrying into an extraordinarily long, bone-dry, and deeply savory finish marked by a clean mineral resonance.
Food Pairing: A majestic partner for fine Piedmontese gastronomy; pairs flawlessly with slow-braised beef in Nebbiolo (Brasato al Barolo), roasted duck breast, fresh tajarin pasta tossed with shaved white truffles, or well-matured artisanal cheeses.
