Privada Storytelling
Cerro is a real neighborhood in Havana, and in this cigar, Reinier Lorenzo captures its soul—not polished, not flashy, but full of depth and history. HVC Cerro Maduro takes the original Corojo-based Cerro blend and reimagines it in shadow: cloaked in dark San Andrés maduro and burning slow like a midnight streetlight in Old Havana. There’s nothing trendy about this stick. It’s all mood and muscle. For Privada, this is the cigar you light when you want flavor that speaks in low tones—deep, rich, and undeniably real.
Flavor Journey
-
First third: Opens with espresso, dark chocolate, and black pepper. A thick, chewy smoke rolls over the palate.
-
Mid-smoke: Damp earth and roasted hazelnut take over, with a background of molasses and smoky sweetness.
-
Final third: The finish brings charred oak, a return of spice, and an almost umami-like cocoa earthiness that lingers.
Why It Belongs in Privada
HVC Cerro Maduro belongs in Privada because it reminds us that boldness isn’t always about power—it’s about presence. This cigar brings authentic Cuban-inspired flavor through the filter of maduro strength. It’s not trying to impress—it’s trying to express. And in a world of loud blends, Cerro Maduro whispers with confidence. For the Privada member who values slow-burning depth over hype, this is essential.
