Honor the spirit of resilience with Horse Soldier Signature Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey. Crafted by American Freedom Distillery, founded by Green Beret veterans in St. Petersburg, Florida, this 113-121.5-proof (56.5-60.75% ABV) wheated bourbon is distilled and aged at Middle West Spirits in Columbus, Ohio, due to Florida’s heat. Made from a mashbill of 70% Yellow Dent corn, 20% soft red winter wheat, and 10% barley (two-row, distillers malt, and base two-row), it’s aged 6-8 years in new charred American oak barrels and bottled non-chill filtered at cask strength. Each bottle, molded from steel recovered from the World Trade Center, commemorates the “Horse Soldiers” of post-9/11 Afghanistan, immortalized in the movie 12 Strong and America’s Response Monument at Ground Zero. Sip it neat for a robust, spicy-sweet profile, with water to open fruit notes, or in an Old Fashioned for a bold twist.
