Honduras Ocotepeque organic green coffee beans produced by COCASFEL — a certified cooperative of smallholder farmers in Honduras' Ocotepeque region. This Strictly High Grown European Preparation (SHG EP) washed lot scores 82.75 on the SCA scale and carries Organic, Fair Trade FLO, and Fair Trade USA certifications. Grown at 1,000–1,600 meters above sea level (masl), it is a dependable, certified green coffee for home roasters and commercial roasteries seeking a clean, traceable Central American washed coffee available from 1 lb to 75 lb.
Processed using the washed method across a blend of Catuai, Caturra, Bourbon, and Catimor varieties, this lot produces a clean, light-bodied cup with jasmine aroma, cocoa, and caramel flavor notes, and a clean finish. Full sweetness, balanced acidity, and zero defects reflect the careful hand-processing and cooperative-level quality control that define COCASFEL's production model.
The clean washed profile and light body make this lot well-suited for filter brewing, pour-over, and light-to-medium roast espresso. Its triple certification — Organic, Fair Trade FLO, and Fair Trade USA — makes it a direct fit for roasteries building or expanding a certified green coffee line.
