This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a true classic, crafted with care and tradition. Bottled at 100 proof (50% alcohol), it delivers a bold yet smooth character that whiskey lovers appreciate. Aged for a full 10 years, it ranks among the oldest Bottled-in-Bond bourbons you’ll find on shelves today. It follows the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act, guaranteeing high quality, purity, and honest craftsmanship.
Each 750ml bottle comes from a single barrel, which means every bottle has its own unique taste. Made by Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, this bourbon is built on Heaven Hill’s traditional mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, creating a rich and balanced flavor.
You’ll notice smooth notes of vanilla, caramel, oak, and a light herbal touch. The taste is warm and full-bodied, with touches of honey, sweet oak, and gentle spice, leading to a long, satisfying finish.
Named after Henry McKenna, an Irish immigrant who brought his family’s whiskey-making know-how to Kentucky, this bourbon carries deep heritage and pride. After winning “Best in Show Whiskey” at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, it became highly sought-after. Perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in an Old Fashioned, it’s a bourbon worth savoring.
