Hennessy and Shuting Qiu Welcome the Lunar New Year 2025
A Vibrant Collaboration for the Year of the Snake
To celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, marking the Year of the Snake, Maison Hennessy joins forces with Chinese fashion designer Shuting Qiu for a vivid limited-edition collection of its signature cognacs.
Shuting Qiu, famous for her colorful embroidery and floral patterns, combines traditional Chinese craftsmanship with a modern creative edge. For this collaboration, she draws from Chinese brocades and serpentine textures, which symbolize transformation and renewal—key themes of the snake in Chinese culture.
The Artistry Behind Hennessy X.O
The Hennessy X.O Lunar New Year 2025 edition immediately captures attention. Its satin-finish red-to-purple gradient bottle glows with floral accents that reflect Shuting Qiu’s signature style. The collectible sits in a luxurious gift box featuring embossed patterns and fabric-like textures that echo the beauty of Chinese artistry.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Since Maurice Hennessy created X.O in 1870, this blend has represented excellence and innovation. Crafted from 100 eaux-de-vie, some aged up to 30 years, Hennessy X.O delivers a bold, layered flavor. Its warmth and depth reveal the brand’s passion for craftsmanship and its respect for time-honored methods.
Fashion Meets Fine Spirits
This limited edition does more than offer exceptional cognac—it bridges fashion and fine spirits. The collaboration highlights how creativity can connect tradition with modern vision. Moreover, it demonstrates both Hennessy’s and Shuting Qiu’s shared commitment to preserving heritage while embracing innovation.
A Complete Lunar New Year Collection
Beyond the X.O edition, the collaboration also includes Hennessy V.S.O.P and Hennessy Paradis limited editions. Each bottle carries Shuting Qiu’s distinctive design, inspired by Chinese silks, embroidery, and festive motifs. Together, these designs celebrate elegance, optimism, and transformation—perfect themes for the New Year.
A Toast to Renewal and Modern Elegance
Ultimately, this partnership embodies the spirit of renewal, beauty, and cultural harmony. The Hennessy x Shuting Qiu Lunar New Year 2025 Collection is available in select markets and through specialized retailers. It offers not only a refined cognac experience but also a collectible work of art, ideal for gifting or display.
