Bob Dylan set out to create a collection of small-batch American whiskeys that would tell a story. The result, Heaven's Door Whiskey, a brand of award-winning hand-crafted American whiskeys. Each bottle showcases the welded iron gates Dylan created in his metal working studio.
"Gates appeal to me because of the negative space they allow. They can be closed but at the same time they allow the seasons and breezes to enter and flow. They can shut you out or shut you in. And in some ways, there is no difference." Bob Dylan
Placing their already-aged 6-Year whiskey in an alligator charred, new American oak, deepens the colour and fills our whiskey with flavours of dark toasted vanilla. The finished product came out so smooth they increased the bottling proof to 100.
