From the hallowed grounds of Jamaica’s Trelawny Parish—the cradle of Hampden Estate—comes the highly anticipated seventh release in the Distillery Edition series. Bottled at 57% ABV, this year’s limited-edition blend embodies the spirit of the estate’s legendary “Great House,” crafted to showcase the distillery’s distinctive pot-still artistry.
Like its predecessors, the 2025 edition features a bespoke blend of multiple marques and vintages, selected to express the pulsing, effusive character that defines Hampden’s estate rum. Each year’s blend is exclusive to the distillery’s gift shop and select global markets—making them true collector’s items.
This expression carries forward the series’ celebrated tropically aged complexity. Compare it to the 2024 release, which offered vibrant bursts of torched pineapple, marshy sea grass, and gunpowder on the nose, followed by lit-match papaya, citrus peel, guava, and a long, playful finish that balanced sweetness and funk with a cotton candy twist.
Expect bold tropical esters, pungent funk, and a layered palate that evolves in the glass—from ripe fruit and spice to earthy and savory undertones. Perfect for sipping neat or as the heart of an elevated rum cocktail. Whether you're a seasoned collector or new to high-esters, the Great House 2025 offers a rare glimpse into the soul of Hampden, bottled.
