Frequently asked
What does the 100th Anniversary commemorate?
Suntory's 100th anniversary of whisky making (1923-2023) — from Shinjiro Torii founding Yamazaki distillery in 1923 to Suntory's global position today. A century of Japanese whisky heritage.
Is the whisky different from standard Hakushu 12?
Same core whisky recipe. The distinction is in the commemorative packaging — collector-preferred for the anniversary narrative and distinctive presentation.
Is this a good collector piece?
Yes — 100th anniversary editions have particular collector appeal for Suntory series completists. Retain original packaging for maximum future value.
