It is remarkable how many Cuban based brands have branched into other areas of the Caribbean. From the Dominican Republic to Nicaragua to Honduras and other tobacco growing countries, each have taken the original Cuban rolling skills and applied it to other countries’ cigar industry. H Upmann is no different. A history that dates back to 1844, H Upmann cigars are always smooth hand-rolled smokes.
The H Upmann 1844 Reserve pays tribute to the original Cuban rollers of the brand. This cigar is made from Dominican long-filler tobaccos and results in a medium-bodied smooth cigar with flavors of pepper, earth, nuts and cedar. This remarkable cigar even received a 93 point rating and has earned spots on the Top 25 List by Cigar Aficionado.
