Smooth, mellow and insanely affordable, the Prize Fighter XO is another winning smoke from Kaizad Hansotia and his team that takes the Gurkha image and turns it on its head. Ditching the stylish luxury and the extravagant price tag of Gurkha Cigars, the Prize Fighter is a down and dirty blue collar smoke that is made for the everyday enthusiast.
This awesome 6” x 60 Prize Fighter XO begins with three year aged Dominican filler tobaccos that are stuffed into a double binder of Ecuadorian and Indonesian tobaccos. An Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper completes the package which is seriously, dollar for dollar, one of the best hour long smokes around.
The first puff will deliver a smooth creamy texture laced with wood notes that flow from start to finish. The mild-to-medium bodied smoke lingers on the milder end until a hearty burst of spice on the back end closes out the enticingly mellow smoke.
The Prize Fighter XO is, as one expects from Gurkha, a masterfully-made stick that carries a most uncommonly low price. This unpretentious and most gratifying smoke is available in 20 count bundles so it is easy to keep these handy at all times. Whether admiring your work after working in the yard or relaxing at your favorite fishing hole, the Prize Fighter will win the day!
