A healthy strawberry green tea with all-natural flavours
Strawberry Fields is a luscious strawberry green tea and one of our most popular green tea flavours. It combines high-quality gunpowder-style green tea from Sri Lanka with all natural strawberry pieces and strawberry essence and will remind you of summer-fresh juicy strawberries. It brews great both hot or iced.
What is gunpowder tea?
Gunpowder tea is a classic green tea made up of leaves hand-rolled into tiny pellets. These resemble gunpowder and give this tea its distinct name.
How to brew green tea
We recommend you avoid using boiling water with green teas. Why? Boiling water can scorch the delicate leaves of a green tea. that can over extract the tannins in the leaf making it bitter. Since this is a full leaf tea, you will want a teapot that has ample room for the tea leaves to expand and unfold. That will release the full flavour of the strawberry green tea. Try a smart tea maker like the Aberdeen.
