Hand-blended from select barrels at the historic Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky, Green River Full Proof is a barrel-strength expression of the distillery's signature Kentucky straight bourbon. Bottled at 117.3 proof without water dilution, this high-proof, rye-forward bourbon is aged between 5 to 7 years in traditional tile-roofed rackhouses, delivering an uncut, rich, and deeply spiced flavor profile.
Food Pairing: Smoked beef brisket, grilled ribeye steak, barbecue pork ribs, pecan pie, dark chocolate-covered peppermints, and aged sharp cheddar cheese.
Tasting Notes : Deep golden amber in appearance, with a full-bodied, rich, and lingering mouthfeel on the palate.
Nose : Aromatic notes of cinnamon, dried cherry, warm baking spices, rich vanilla, caramel, light leather, and a hint of fresh mint.
Palate : Full of warming spice, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, dark caramel, chocolate-coated peppermints, and light oak.
Finish : Long, rich, and lingering, dominated by baking spices and sweet oak warmth.
Serve : Best served neat in a Glencairn glass, or with a single large ice cube or a few drops of water to open up the high-proof aromas.
