Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseur’s Choice Benrinnes Distillery Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2001 – A Rare Speyside Masterpiece
Delve into the refined world of Speyside single malts with the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseur’s Choice Benrinnes 2001. Distilled at the Benrinnes Distillery and bottled by the legendary independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, this limited edition release captures over two decades of expert maturation and cask influence.
Carefully aged in hand-selected casks since 2001, this expression showcases the hallmark depth and complexity of Benrinnes spirit—renowned for its full-bodied character and meaty richness, thanks in part to its partial triple distillation process. Expect a nose layered with stewed orchard fruits, honeyed malt, toasted oak, and hints of warm baking spices. On the palate, waves of dried apricot, nutmeg, dark toffee, and subtle smokiness unfold with elegance, leading to a long, warming finish with a touch of oak and spice.
Part of the esteemed Connoisseur’s Choice range—a collection known for highlighting unique single malt expressions from Scotland’s most respected distilleries—this Benrinnes 2001 release is a rare opportunity for whisky enthusiasts and collectors to experience an aged Speyside gem with exceptional provenance and individuality.
Whether savored neat or reserved for a special occasion, the Benrinnes 2001 is a tribute to traditional whisky-making and Gordon & MacPhail’s dedication to excellence.
