Gonzalez Byass Apostoles VORS 30 Year Old Palo Cortado
Apostoles VORS is a pinnacle expression from Gonzalez Byass. Crafted from hand-selected sun-ripened grapes and aged for over 30 years in oak casks. This Rare Old Solera sherry showcases their mastery, whose heritage in Jerez has made them a benchmark for exceptional sherries.
- Dark amber in colour. The nose is elegant and delicate, reminiscent of an amontillado, with layered aromas of concentrated fruits and subtle nutty undertones
- On the palate, it is complex and intense, revealing rich notes of caramel, mature oak, toasted nuts, and candied orange peel
- Gonzalez Byass Apostoles VORS 30 Year Old has a long finish. Refined, and lingering, reflecting the remarkable concentration developed over three decades of careful ageing
Chill before serving and pour into a small wine glass to appreciate its nuances. Apostoles VORS pairs exquisitely with foie gras, mature cheeses, and richly-flavoured red meats.
