Explore the exceptional craftsmanship of Glenn’s Creek Distilling with this exclusive barrel of Flippin the Bird Bourbon, available now for the first time outside the distillery.
The Prime Barrel had the honor of being the first group to select a Flippin' the Bird barrel, marking a historic moment for Glenn’s Creek. Previously known as Cuervito Vivo, Flippin' the Bird is a testament to the distillery’s innovation and the rich heritage of the grounds.
Located at the historic Old Crow Distillery site, Glenn’s Creek crafts Flippin the Bird on a handmade pot still using the traditional Old Crow mashbill, 70% corn, 20% rye, and 10% malted barley. This bourbon is then aged in a Kelvin Cooperage Heavy Toast, Char 3 barrel, resulting in a flavor profile that belies its age of 4 years and 8 months.
Experience the influence of the deep caramelization from the toasted and charred Kelvin barrel, which lends rich, intense, and layered dark bourbon notes to Flippin the Bird.
With an annual production of less than 300 barrels, this is a rare chance to own a unique, distillery-exclusive bourbon from Glenn’s Creek. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to savor a piece of bourbon history.
