Glendalough Rose Irish Gin is a heartfelt tribute to the head distiller's late mother, Rose, created for a special occasion—the distiller's little brother's wedding. Distilled with care, this gin incorporates meticulously tended flowers from Rose's garden, vapor distilled alongside wild roses and mountain botanicals surrounding the distillery. The result is an intensely floral gin that pays homage to Rose's memory, capturing the essence of her beloved rose garden.
This Irish gin offers an aromatic experience with soft juniper notes on the nose, perfumed with the freshness of roses. On the palate, the taste is characterized by a gentle sweet spice, featuring distinct rose petal, bright berries, and citrus, culminating in a nectar-like sweetness. The finish is long, floral, and redolent with the delicate essence of rose petals. With an alcohol content that enhances its character, Glendalough Rose Irish Gin stands out as a uniquely crafted spirit, deeply rooted in sentiment.
While traditionally enjoyed in a dry martini, this gin has found a recent favorite in a G&T, garnished with a wedge of lime and fresh mint. Each sip embodies the artistry and emotional connection behind Glendalough Rose Irish Gin, making it a delightful choice for those seeking a sensory journey with a touch of nostalgia.
