Girolamo Russo 'A Rina Etna Rosso 2024 is produced by Giuseppe Russo on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, near Passopisciaro in Sicily, Italy. The wine draws fruit from multiple contrade including San Lorenzo, Feudo, and Calderara Sottana, from organically farmed vines ranging from 20 to 100 years old planted on volcanic lava flows between 650 and 800 meters elevation. It blends roughly 90% Nerello Mascalese with 10% Nerello Cappuccio. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts.
